I noticed earlier today that Jacobin seems to be playing a duelling headline game with my take on AES’s Medicare for All plan and a more recent take published by Matt Bruenig. Ordinarily there isn’t much daylight between me and Bruenig on these questions, but though the headlines probably suggest a bigger disagreement than actually exists, I thought it’d nevertheless be worth spelling out where the disagreement actually is.
