Position polls do not indicate importance

A word on one of the most common ways to misread a poll.

Remember how, a month ago, everyone decided that the Epstein scandal was going to bring down Trump? At MSNBC, Ali Velshi write that the Epstein files might by Trump’s “undoing”. The Bulwark’s Adam Keiper wrote that “this scandal is the cudgel at hand” for “defeating Trump”. David Pakman wrote that Trump was “losing his base fast.” WIRED’s Jake Lahut said that “The Epstein story…has too much momentum behind it to be simply shut down and stopped in its tracks.” And Acyn Torabi said that the “Epstein scandal will not be going away anytime soon.”
